It is the fifth edition of this car show, where companies showcase and sell vehicles.
Car and motorcycle dealers, heavy machinery companies and vehicle parts and accessories businesses are participating in the event.

From Nacion: “4 financial companies are present at the activity: Scotiabank, Banco Nacional, Banco de Costa Rica and Bac San José. They all announced special loans for vehicle buyers”.

Car Sales in Panama Up 16%

In the first quarter of 2013, 17,105 cars were sold , ie 2,296 more than in the same period in 2012.

According to the Automobile Dealers Association of Panama (ADAP), in March 4479 units were sold, while in the same period last year the figure was 3771.

Guatemala: New Car Sales Up 25%

In the first nine months of the year a total of 17,053 new vehicles were sold, 25.14% more than in the same period of 2010.

Industry sales projections indicate that by the end of the year about 24,000 new cars will have been sold, compared to 19,813 in 2010.

Representatives from car dealerships have attributed the increase in sales to the banking sector’s greater willingness to lend.
