Expocomer 2018 Announced

Confirmation has been given of the participation of entrepreneurs from countries such as Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, China, Chile, Costa Rica, El Salvador, the United States, Guatemala, Indonesia, Korea, and for the first time, Singapore.

From a statement issued by the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP):

(Panama, January 10, 2018).  From February 28 to March 3, Panama will be hosting the 36th edition of EXPOCOMER, the "World Trade Showcase", which seeks to strengthen business and promote commercial exchange between business sectors in more than 20 countries.

"Panama is the ideal place to grow, strengthen business and promote trade between business sectors in all countries in the world, therefore our guild is proud to host an event of this quality and importance," said. Inocencio Galindo De Obarrio, president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP).

International Business Roundtable Prepared

EXPOCOMER 2020 will take place in Panama City from March 25 to 28. Businessmen from 30 countries will participate in the event, exhibiting food products, beverages, textiles, clothing and accessories, technological and electronic equipment.

Jorge Garcia Icaza, president of the EXPOCOMER 2020 Organizing Committee, reported that the exhibition area of the fair to be held at the Atlapa Convention Center has sold out 90% to date and this year's edition is expected to attract the participation of some 30 countries from the Americas, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia, who will attend this event to take advantage of opportunities to present everything from food and textile lines to technology and home appliances, among others.

ExpoPerú Central America Generates Business Worth $18 million

Business deals worth for $7.6 million in Costa Rica and $10 million in Panama were made in the context of business meetings conducted in both countries.

From a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru:

The Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Magali Silva Velarde-Alvarez, reported today that the ExpoPerú Central America, held in Costa Rica and Panama between 13th and 16th August, had sales worth nearly $18 million.

El Salvador Aims at $30 Million in Deals at World Fairs

Some 145 Salvadoran companies will participate this year in international fairs, particularly those related to the food and beverage sector.

Some 145 firms, mostly medium and small sized, will participate in trade fairs in Germany, Colombia, Taiwan and Panama, among other countries, and it is expected that deals will be made worth around $30 million.
