ExpoApen International Trade Fair in Nicaragua

On September 1 and 2 Nicaraguan exporters from various sectors will be exhibiting their merchandise in Managua and taking part in business rounds with international buyers.

The Nicaraguan exporters' union is inviting local and international businessmen to take part in business rounds within the framework of the ExpoApen 2017 exhibition.
The event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Convention Center. 
Export products on offer:
Fresh fruits: tamarind (peeled and unpeeled), banana, dried coconut, mango, watermelon, melon, bananas, pineapple, passion fruit, red pitahaya.
Processed fruits: dehydrated, concentrated, frozen pulp, peeled banana, jams
Fresh vegetables 
Meats: fresh and frozen
Conventional and organic honey
Roots and tubers: malanga lila, malanga coconut, yuca, ginger
Dairy: fluid and flavored milk, cheeses, butter, sorbet 
Grains and seeds: red beans, black beans, sesame (conventional and organic), peanut (conventional and organic), chia (conventional and organic), whole and raw cocoa (conventional and organic), gold and roasted coffee, white corn, rice
Beverages: natural soybeans, gas based
Nostalgic products: donuts, cereals, jams, banana chips, handicrafts, furniture. 
Articles made of leather and textiles.

$27 million in Deals at Apen Expo 2012

The twelfth edition of the ExpoApen Fair that will begin on September 28 in Nicaragua, is expected to attract more than 75 international buyers and close deals worth $27 million.

Azucena Castillo, general manager of the Association of Producers and Exporters in Nicaragua (APEN), organizer of the event told the media that the registered companies "are direct representatives of supermarket chains and convenience stores in Central America, Europe, the United States, the Caribbean and Asia. "
