Hospital Infrastructure Event

At the Hospital Infrastructure Congress, to be held September 18-20 in San Jose, Costa Rica, one of the topics to be discussed is related to the characteristics and functionalities that should have new design projects for hospitals and clinics in the future.

The Costa Rican Association of Hospital Architecture and Engineering (ACOAIH) will hold the 5th Hospital Infrastructure Congress on September 18, 19 and 20, 2019 at the Crown Plaza Corobicí Hotel in San José.

In the statement of the event it is detailed that "... The aging of the population, the increase in chronic diseases, changes in the epidemiological profile, as well as climate change are factors that challenge and force health authorities to rethink how should be the new design projects of hospitals and clinics. The buildings of the future must be part of the process of recovery of health, through humanized environments and welcoming areas."

Nicaragua: $25 million for Health Infrastructure

According to the Public Investment Program, the Ministry of Health has prepared a budget for 2013 of $25 million in order to renovate hospital infrastructure.

From 3 to 6 August, the 1st. Congress on Hospital Infrastructure will be held in San José, Costa Rica.

The First Congress on Hospital Infrastructure, sponsored by the Costa Rican College of Architects, will bring together national and international professionals to share, interact, educate and enrich their knowledge with experience in the planning, design and construction of buildings for health provision in each country.
