Eva Air Airline to Return to Panama

Taiwanese airline Eva Air is considering resuming flights from that country to Tocumen airport.

Back in 1996, the airline made its first flights between Taiwan and Panama, but abandoned the route a few years ago.

During a first stage, the airline would explore the route through a code share agreement with Copa Airlines.

"By reaching an agreement it would create a special fare for passengers who arrive at Los Angeles from and then take a Copa Airlines flight to Panama", reported Prensa.com.

Direct Flights to from Panama to Rosario in Argentina

Copa Airlines has announced new flight from Panama City to Rosario from 1 July 2016 with four weekly frequencies.

Panama City, March 07, 2016 Copa Airlines {NYSE: CPA} subsidiary of Copa Holdings, SA, and member of the global airline network Star Alliance, announced its new route to the city of Rosario in Argentina, from on 1 July 2016, with 4 weekly frequencies between Rosario and Panama City.

January 2014

TAP, BlueSky and Aeromexico are negotiating flight connections from Portugal, Grand Cayman and Mexico City to Tocumen airport.

The Mexican carrier has already made the first approaches for connections to the Tocumen International Airport. Although it has not defined when flights would start, representatives indicated that it could begin with seven a week.

Direct Flight San Pedro Sula - Panama

October 2012

Copa Airlines has launched direct flights between San Pedro Sula and the capital of Panama, with connections to Colombia.

According to Laprensa.hn Elisa Brenes, regional manager for Central America for Copa, said: "This new route will open the doors for national tourism and will provide an opportunity to attract business to Honduras, further supporting trade and tourism in the region.

Air Europa to Link Madrid With Panama

January 2010

The European airline will start the route Madrid-Panama in October, with 4 weekly frequencies.

On January 21st, the Panamanian Tourism Authority (ATP) and Air Europa signed a collaboration agreement which regulates the new route, to be operated with 299-passenger planes.
