Guatemala is the country that last year concentrated the largest investment, with approximately $150 million in energy projects, corresponding to eight environmental impact studies submitted to the Ministry of Environment throughout last year.

The platform reports that seven EIAs were submitted in Panama, which together amount to an investment of approximately $31 million. The most important project in terms of the amount invested is the construction of a liquefied natural gas truck loading station at the Costa Norte LNG Thermoelectric Power Plant.

For the year in question in Costa Rica, two studies were presented for work on electrical networks and also for the construction of generator parks, which together project a $5 Million investment.
