"Keira Development Inc. is promoting the construction of a clean energy production plant using photovoltaic panels. The plant will have a nominal capacity of 40 Mwac (inverter side) and 44.50 Mwp (photovoltaic panels side), the planned route of the evacuation power line in medium voltage at 34.5 kV is approximately 10.5 km long.

The plant will be connected to the Santiago electrical substation by means of a medium voltage line next to the public easement.

The project execution time is expected to be 34 months, which is divided into the following:

* Planning Phase (18 months): such as field measurements, filing of applications with the Public Utilities Authority and preparation of the Environmental Impact Study.

* Construction Phase (16 months): from the beginning of the site preparation works to the final tests with the Distribution Entity.

The Operation Phase will be based on the Lease Agreements of the farms where the photovoltaic panels are installed and is contemplated for 25 years.

The Termination Phase, after the Contract time has elapsed, would take approximately 6 months to dismantle all the components of the photovoltaic plant and the transmission line."

CentralAmericaData has information on planned construction projects in all Central American countries, with details such as estimated investment, project timing and phases, inputs and equipment that will be required during and after construction, water treatment, parking structure, among others.
