The Arrest of Odebrecht's President

The arrest of Marcelo Odebrecht has generated uncertainty in important projects awarded to the Brazilian company, some of which are under implementation or have recently been awarded such as the Metro Line 2.

According to Prensa.com, Ramon Ricardo Arias, president of the Foundation for the Development of Civic Freedom agrees that "... the main thing is for Panamanians is to know what will happen to the projects that are being built under the portfolio of the company Odebrecht ... ".

Regarding the multiple awarded projects, Arias confirms that "... in this collection of projects is necessary for the authorities of the Attorney General and the Comptroller to do the work that corresponds to them ..."
