El Salvador to Import Meat From Dominican Republic

The Salvadoran government has given permission for the import of beef and its derivatives from the Dominican Republic.

More Meat Sales, Fewer Live Cattle

From January to March 2019, the countries of the region reported $154 million in sales of beef abroad, and exports to Puerto Rico grew 12% over the same period in 2017.

Panama Tries Out Uruguayan Meat

The supermarket chain Super Carnes bought the first contingent of eight tonnes to the Solis refrigerating company, one of the nine authorized to sell the meat in Panama.

The first contingent of beef imported from the South American country has entered the country, after permission was gained to sell the meat in Panama in April 2015.
