From a statement issued by the Legislature:

Agreement to amend Fiscal Incentives Act for the Development of Renewable Energy in Electricity Generation

MEPs from the Committee on Economy, agreed today to amend the Tax Act for the Promotion of Renewable Energy in Electricity Generation, presented by the executive, these reforms aim to include new sources of renewable energy and expand coverage of incentives for larger projects.

To achieve this, positions were heard today, of the Ministry of Economy and the private sector in relation to the proposed changes, in this regard the Deputy Minister of Economy, Luz Estrella Rodríguez, said that these reforms were presented to the Legislative Assembly, after carrying out the necessary consultations with different sectors.
