El Salvador promotes new tourist routes

A group of small business owners formed the Los Volcanes Complex and Regional Tourism Associations with the goal of becoming a more attractive alternative for domestic and international tourists.

Elsalvador.com reports: "The Los Volcanes Route includes a series of tourist destinations that offer the opportunity to discover the cultural legacy of the mystical colonial city of Izalco, to explore rivers with thermal water and the cacao plantations in Caluco. Additionally, they can enjoy local food in the excellent climate of the restaurants, cafes and eco-parks located on the Los Naranjos highway."
