El Salvador: Residential Project for $14 million

The developer Urbánica in San Salvador has started construction of 57 apartments in two towers each with 11 floors.

The towers will be built within the Conjunto Condominal Portal Canarias residential project, which with this new stage, will complete a total investment of $60 million, said Alejandro Dueñas, executive director of Urbánica to Elsalvador.com.

"... Duenas stressed 'the importance of the vital support of government institutions to continue generating the investments that our country needs, jobs and more life solutions which we at Dueñas Group offer in our El Salvador, because the construction industry is one of the cornerstones of progress and Urbánica wants to remain part of it.'"

The company HSolís decided to suspend definitively the construction of a residential complex composed of two towers of apartments of 25 levels each, arguing that the country is going through a "complicated economic situation."

The two residential towers that were part of the development called "Foro 2-25" and that would be located in the canton of Curridabat, province of San José, planned to house 310 apartments.

El Salvador: Greater Supply of High Rise Housing

The construction of a ten story residential tower, estimated at $16 million, has been announced. The building will house 96 apartments and will be located in Colonia San Benito, in San Salvador.

The construction company Urbánica Desarrollos Inmobiliarios reported that it will start, in December of this year or in January of 2019, construction on a housing complex called "AM Tower", which is expected to be ready in the second half of 2020.

Construction work has started on a residential complex estimated at $60 million, which will be composed of three apartment towers and will be located in Antiguo Cuscatlán.

The housing project being developed by the construction company Urbánica is called "Puerta del Alma". It will have 304 apartments and 709 parking spaces which will be distributed in an open area and two basements, and the condominium will be located on Calle El Pedregal in front of the Multiplaza shopping center.

Plans are underway to build a seven-level tower in San Salvador, which will house 16 apartments and two penthouses, and will have a parking spaces for 42 vehicles.

Representatives from the construction company López-Hurtado reported that in a plot of land measuring 1,097 m2, in Colonia San Mateo, they will be building a tower with 18 apartments which will have a construction area of between 100 m2 and 110 m2, with prices between $130 thousand and $140 thousand.
