El Salvador: Brokerage House For Sale

Grupo Prival, a financial institution of Panamanian origin, has announced the sale of its subsidiary Prival Securities El Salvador, on May 8, 2018.

Elcapitalfinanciero.com reports that "... In a note sent to the Superintendency of the Stock Market (SMV) for public knowledge, the banking institution reported that the change was duly notified and authorized by the Superintendency of Banks of Panama (SBP). 

The note sent by Prival Securities to the Securities Exchange of El Salvador details that "... they report that the name of this Brokerage House has changed from Prival Securities El Salvador, SA de CV, Casa de corredores de Bolsa to Hencorp, SA de CV, Casa de Corredores de Bolsa."

The document concludes requesting that " ... the respective changes be made in the records that the Stock Exchange keeps and in the respective electronic systems, for which the copy of the deed of modification of the articles of incorporation registered in the Commercial Registry is attached."

The National Stock Exchange (BNV by its initials in Spanish) now has a period of 10 working days to evaluate the application made by the Panamanian financial group, which recently entered the country after acquiring the bank Bansol which was founded on Costa Rican capital.

Costa Rica: Change of Share Owners in Stock Brokerage Firm

Grupo Improsa de Costa Rica has repurchased from Grupo Prival 50% of the shares in the stock brokerage firm Improsa Valores, which had been sold to the Panamanian company in December 2013.

With the acquisition of 50% of the stock brokerage firm Improsa Valores, Grupo Prival has ventured into the Costa Rican stock market.
