El Salvador Analyzes Extension of Unemployment Benefits

One of the proposals of the new director of the Salvadoran Social Security Institute is raising unemployment benefits coverage from 3 to 6 months.

Oscar Kattan said that the internal regulations of the social security institute are being analyzed.

Elsalvador.com reported the new director's comments on the financial situation of the institution: "There are funds. There is only one administrative disorder, which I will solve and make efforts to improve."
