Residential Building: More Investments Prepared

Urbanica announced that from November will begin construction of the second apartment tower of the residential project "Puerta del Alma", located in Antiguo Cuscatlan, El Salvador.

This is the second phase of the vertical housing project, estimated at $18.5 million, because in April 2018 began with investments that included the construction of the first tower of 14 levels and that houses a total of 112 apartments. The dimensions range from 95 to 135 square meters.

Alejandro Dueñas, president of Urbanica, explained to Elmundo.sv that $19 million will be invested for this stage of the project, which will begin to be developed in the last quarter of the year, and it is expected "... to deliver this second phase in May 2020. So far in the time of preparation and completion of details to start the work, 60% of apartments have already been marketed because it has 'had a very good reception of the market' due to the location and accessibility of the project."

The article adds that "... This project will offer a terrace for social events, an obstacle course, a children's playground, a car wash, plus convenience stores, a bar, a roundabout with space for bonfires, fitness, and pet care and training services."

In April 2018, the construction company reported that the global project, which will be executed in three stages, would require an investment of nearly $60 million.

El Salvador: Greater Supply of High Rise Housing

August 2018

The construction of a ten story residential tower, estimated at $16 million, has been announced. The building will house 96 apartments and will be located in Colonia San Benito, in San Salvador.

The construction company Urbánica Desarrollos Inmobiliarios reported that it will start, in December of this year or in January of 2019, construction on a housing complex called "AM Tower", which is expected to be ready in the second half of 2020.

The developer Urbánica in San Salvador has started construction of 57 apartments in two towers each with 11 floors.

The towers will be built within the Conjunto Condominal Portal Canarias residential project, which with this new stage, will complete a total investment of $60 million, said Alejandro Dueñas, executive director of Urbánica to Elsalvador.com.

Costa Rica: $18 million for Residential Tower

A 29 storey tower containing 126 apartments in the center of the capital San José confirms the trend towards high rise housing with easy access to urban services.

The project which is by Grupo Inmobiliario Del Parque is part of the second phase of the project Torres de Paseo Colon.
