ESET boosts presence with new offices in Panama City

ESET, a global provider of anti-malware technology, is opening new offices in Panama City with the aim of stepping up hands-on support for clients throughout the region.

The new offices to be opened by Micro Technology, exclusive distributors of ESET in Panama, will be located in the Costa del Este industrial park.

Software Businesses Expand Abroad

The Guatemalan companies Consultesa, Aldea Systems, Gysa, Icon, Engaje Byte, Sega, Lankin Tecnologies, and BDG have opened offices abroad.

As noted by Jorge Maldonado, president of the Union for Export Software-Developers (Sofex), the new offices will be located in the United States, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama, and Peru.

Grupo Gesfor opens its first office in Panama

Grupo Gescor, a Spanish multinational specializing in consulting and information technologies has opened its first office in Panama. It wants to increase its client base in the country and to work more closely with its established clients there.

A company statement says the new office will be coordinated by José Luis Chong.
