Erick Barboza, commercial director of Aeris, the company that manages the air terminal, told Elfinancierocr.com that "... with DÚ, passengers can order any product available on the platform from the moment they check in at the airline's counter and before entering the boarding lounges, and then pick it up at the pick up zone meeting points, or directly at the store".

The article adds that "... Aeris representatives affirmed that the company maintains a process of affiliation with more businesses and it is expected that in the next stages the commercial offer of the online store will be greater. Before the pandemic, the airport offered about 12 food outlets and at least 10 stores."

Regarding the situation of online businesses, CentralAmericaData reports that in Costa Rica, Panama and Honduras the interest in e-commerce services rebounded in January 2021 and in El Salvador and Guatemala, the number of Internet searches associated with the subject has not reported significant variations in recent months.
