Daily KLM Flights to Panama

From November 5 the company will start flying daily to Panama from Amsterdam.

By adding an extra flight the company will now have a flight every day of the week. The decision to increase the weekly schedule from six to seven flights is due to the country's economic growth and an influx of tourists.

"The airline, which flies from Sunday to Friday to Panama, registered 88% occupancy in its MD-11 aircraft with a capacity for 285 passengers", reported Prensa.com.

New Flight from Panama to San Andres

Starting from July 3 Avianca will fly three times a week from Tocumen airport to the island of San Andres, Colombia.

The airline announced that the frequency will start operating on July 3 Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with stops in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Fifth Iberia Flight to Panama

Iberia continues to grow strongly in Panama. In October 2010 it launched direct flights from Madrid, with four weekly flights, and from today (January 16th , 2012) it will operate one more flight every Monday.

New KLM Flight: San Jose – Amsterdam

February 2010

From February 10 onwards, the company will operate 5 weekly frequencies between San José (Costa Rica) and Amsterdam.

The new flight will be operated through a code share agreement with Copa Airlines.

KLM expands number of flights to Panama

The airline announced that starting December 1 will expand the weekly number of flights between Amsterdam and Panama from 3 to 5.

This increase comes as a result of the Canal expansion project for which many European companies are sending delegates to the country and also due to the international promotion of panama as a tourist destination, according to Axel Metselaar, General Manager of the firm in Panama.
