Country Brand of Honduras: "We Are For You"

With the selection of the new logo and the slogan "Honduras: We are for you," the government is relaunching its international tourism promotion strategy.

From a statement issued by the Presidency of Honduras:

Artwork that symbolizes the Honduran map and also a cornucopia, has won the contest for Graphic Image for Honduras's Country Brand Image, promoted by the Government of the Republic whose award was celebrated in the Presidential Palace.

The Colorful colorful logo for Honduras promotes the country at a national and international level in the field of tourism, production and investment destination.

Through the convening of an international competition, the government will select a Country Brand which it will use to improve promotion of the country as a destination for tourists and investments.

The President Juan Orlando Hernandez stressed that the country brand image contest will be the first step of many efforts to be made by the Government to position Honduras worldwide in the areas of trade, investment, human talent and tourism.

Panama Uses Up Resources to Buy Slogan

The government's enthusiasm for using the phrase "where the world meets" as a slogan to promote the country’s brand image is such that it has decided to exhaust all resources in order to get it.

The Government offered to buy the slogan for $100,000 from the association of hotels and convention centers in Miami.
