Costa Rican Trade Mission Visits Panama

From 13 to 15 June, Costa Rican construction and hardware businesses will hold meetings with their Panamanian counterparts.

The event includes visits to several hardware and construction materials suppliers such as Cochez, Novey, Doit Center and Casa de los Materiales, enabling Costa Rican businesses to compare prices with the Panamanian competition.

Francisco Gamboa, director of Costa Rica's export promotion agency, Procomer, stated that the Costa Rican business taking part are The Plycem Company, Compañía Leogar, Tamarindo Pacific, Molduras y Perfiles, Poleuretano Comercial de Costa Ricaand Metálica Imperio.

Canadian Trade Mission Visits Panama

The schedule includes business meetings from January 25th to 28th.

Canadian businessmen will engage in conversations with Panamanian distributors, dealers and importers of tourism, construction and educational goods and services.

5 Costa Rican Companies on Central American Trade Mission

5 companies from Costa Rica are taking part on a trade mission to El Salvador and Guatemala.

It is organized by exports promotion agency Procomer, and will take place from November 9 to 13.

Its 5 participants belong to the the construction and hardware store industries: "Maderas Cultivadas", "Masaca", "Prodex", "Distribuidora La Flor" and "Mitasa".

Costa Rican Trade Mission to Germany

A group of businessmen from the medicinal plants industry are traveling to Munich, in a visit organized by Procomer, Costa Rica's Exports Promotion Agency.

Meetings will be held with companies from the personal care industry, and raw materials intermediaries.

Emmanuel Hess, Procomer's General Manager, told they "expect at least 30 business appointments between Costa Rican and European businessmen".

Costa Rican Companies Visit Cuba

October 2009

Eleven companies from different sectors will visit Cuba on the first week of November.

5 of these companies will participate in La Habana International Fair (Fihnav), from November 2 to 7. These are Corporación Pipasa, Plásticos Puente, Leogar, CVG Alunasa and Maluquer.
