Costa Rica: $ 40 Million in Office Centers

Works on expansion of Parque Empresarial del Este and construction of the Cordillera Office Center will begin next year.

In the Calle Blancos area, with a $ 13 million investment, Grupo Montecristo and Garnier y Garnier will begin construction of the second stage of Parque Empresarial del Este.

Scheduled for completion by mid-2010 in Pavas, Cordillera Office Center will be build at a cost of $ 28 million.

"Cordillera Office Center measures about 35,000 M2 of which 14,528 M2 will be used for offices (11 floors)." writes Nacion.com.

The new office center in San Pedro has been built by the group that owns the San Pedro Mall.

The company spokesman, Guido Granados, said in an article on the website of El Financiero that, "Two of the buildings are to be used for class A office rentals in sizes that go from 160 square meters upwards.

Yesterday the construction of phase five of the Multiplaza commercial center was started. Both projects are developed by the Grupo Roble, a real estate subsidiary of Grupo Poma. Details for the inauguration of 8-floor tower connected to the Intercontinental Hotel.
