A trade mission is being prepared for the first half of 2016 for Costa Rican companies interested in exploring business opportunities in Israel.

The business trip is being organized by the Chamber of Importers of Costa Rica and the Israeli Embassy in Costa Rica, and aims to analyze potential business opportunities between the two economies.

Guatemala: Trade Missions for 2017

May 2017

Five business missions are being organized to Chile, the United States, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Costa Rica for the period from July to September.

From a statement issued by Agexport:

Commercial Mission to Chile: (December 2017) new market for exploration. In order to carry out this mission support is being provided by the Embassy of Guatemala in Chile. This market is looking for retail products, mayan foods; In addition Chilean consumers demand differentiated products. In the first quarter of 2017, Guatemala exported US $23.8 million worth to this South American country, and some of the main products demanded were rubber and sugar.

Costa Rica: Trade Mission to Israel

A meeting has been organized, for the first months of 2017, between Israeli and Costa Rican businessmen to explore business opportunities.

The Chamber of Foreign Trade of Costa Rica, (CRECEX) and the Embassy of Israel have organized a meeting between Israeli and Costa Rican businessmen in order to affect an increase in trade between the two countries.

From 10th to July 14th, 20 companies in the state of Florida in areas dedicated to technology, tourism and industry, will be looking for business in the country.

The activity is being organized by the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) who will assist companies such as Vestal & Wile, Puerto Cape Canaveral and the airline JetBlue, as well as lawyers with experience in international law and migration.

Costa Rica Attracts Business with China

Next September a delegation of 100 Chinese entrepreneurs will be in the country looking for business, and in November the China-Latin America Business Summit will attract about 1,000 Asian and Latin American entrepreneurs.

According to the Ambassador of Costa Rica to China, Marco Vinicio Ruiz, the delegation of 100 businessmen will come from Zhejiang, one of China's most industrialized provinces, meaning that it will open up important investment opportunities. The group will be headed by the Governor of the province, Lu Zushan.
