Costa Rica: New Liquid Storage Service

The company Terminal de Graneles Moín (TGM), with an investment of about $5 million, is to build a terminal that will operate as a logistics center for receiving, storing and dispensing liquids.

The objectives of the company are to provide storage tanks and reception services in the port and shipping the product.

The project, to be developed by the businessmen Germán Moreno and Rodolfo Blasio, TGM advisers, and with investment by the PASQUI Group will be built on a property measuring 20,000 square meters located between the Químicos Holanda facilities and terminals belonging to Transmerquim and the former Exxon in Moin, Limon, Costa Rica.

" Blasio and Moreno designed two terminals that exist or existed in the area: Transmerquim and Químicos Holanda. Following this experience they decided to develop a terminal that offers the service to others and works as a logistics center for the receipt, storage and dispatch of liquids", reports

Liquid Storage Terminal in Caldera Port

The first phase of the Liquid Boiler Terminal comprises the construction of four storage tanks for liquids such as solvents and vegetable oils, and will be finished in March 2018.

The goal of the liquid products storage terminal whose construction has started at the port of Caldera, Puntarenas, is to provide storage services for chemical products such as solvents, and vegetable and animal and oils. The company in charge of the project has not ruled out requesting permits to store other products, like fuels in the future.
