Through a system that monitors in real time changes in the interests and preferences of consumers in Central American countries, developed by CentralAmericaData, it is possible to project short and long term demand trends for the different products, sectors and markets that operate in the region.
In Costa Rica, the interactive report shows that between January 5th and March 29th, the interest in this type of articles collapsed in the digital environment, but since the beginning of April, the number of interactions began to increase. Until the end of August, searches continued to rise.
In El Salvador, the volume of searches on the Internet and social networks associated with cosmetics and makeup reported a sustained decline since March 1, but stopped its decline on April 12 and since that date interest has been rising.
In Panama, the interest under analysis has been rising since April 12, a behavior that continued until the end of August. Honduras is a similar case to Panama, since in the Honduran market the interactions associated with the issue began to rebound as of April 5.
The interactive system details that in the case of the Guatemalan market, the trend shows a sharp drop in consumer interest in makeup and cosmetics, which began on March 8, however, as of April 19, the volume of searches in the digital environment shows a rebound that continued until August 30.
