Telematic Control: $32 Million Contract Awarded

The Ministry of the Interior of Guatemala awarded Innova Outsourcing S.A., the contract to provide leasing services for the implementation of telematic control.

The companies Soluciones de Centroamerica S.A. and Tactical Group S.A. also submitted bids for this tender; however, the bidding board decided to reject both bids.

According to the awarding minutes dated June 3, 2021, in the case of Innova Outsourcing S.A., the company that won the bidding, its proposal amounted to approximately $32 million.

Following this result, Innova Outsourcing S.A. will have to provide the telematic control service, which consists of setting up a control center, equipping and maintaining the entire system.

The telematic control processing and storage system must be modular and scalable. The Contractor shall provide access credentials to server logs, databases and application software.
