Through the construction of this sanitation system FOMILENIO II and its partners are helping to develop comprehensive tourism, preserving the environment and promoting the generation of at least 100 direct jobs in private investment projects and at least 30 jobs in the construction of the plant.

So far, five investment agreements have been signed for a total of $67.9 million, $56.1 million of financing from the private sector and $11.8 million from FOMILENIO II, through the Fondo Apuesta por Inversiones (API).
