Construction: Upcoming Works in Central America

A hospital in Nicaragua, a regional market in Costa Rica and a high rise residential complex in Panama are some of the projects planned for the coming months in the region.

Detail of some of the Environmental Impact Studies recently submitted:

In Nicaragua the Astaldi Consortium will be building, in the department of Chinandega, a hospital that will have 300 beds, operating rooms, clinics, intensive care area and other spaces. According to the promoter of the project, a total investment of $100 million is foreseen.

The Integral Agricultural Marketing Program of Costa Rica submitted an EIA to build, in Puerto Cortéz, in Puntarenas, facilities for a wholesale food market. The project is called "Brunca Regional Market" and an investment of $47 million is estimated.

Inmobiliaria Milla 7, S.A. submitted an EIA to build, in the town of Omar Torrijos, province of Panama, a residential complex consisting of four apartment buildings with 21 levels each, which will house a total of 676 housing units. According to the study, the project is called "Loma Verde Residential Complex" and it is expected that $45 million will be invested.

September 2017

An environmental impact study has been submitted for the construction in San Miguelito, Panama, of a mixed complex consisting of six apartment towers and a tower for commercial use.

Central America: $47 million in Vertical Housing

February 2017

Apartment towers in San Jose, Costa Rica, and in Mixco, Guatemala, are some of the vertical residential construction projects planned for the coming months.
