Construction Roundtable with Colombia

On May 7th-8th Colombian exporters of building materials and finishings will meet with companies in the region in Panama City.

The Foreign Trade Promotion Office of Colombia is organizing the V Business Roundtable on building materials and finishes, to be held in Panama City in the Ancon Salon of the Sheraton Hotel .

The deadline to register is April 30.

Construction: Business Roundtable with Colombia

On August 12nd and 13rd the Sixth Business Roundtable on Construction Materials between South and Central America will take place in Panama City.

Colombian companies will be showcasing at the Megapolis Convention Center in Panama City their offers of "... construction materials, furniture and wood, metal, tools and appliances to local and international buyers."

$48 million in Building Materials Deals

May 2014

In the V Business Roundtable on Construction Materials and Finishes the value of contracts signed in Panama was $560,000 and this amount is expected to be doubled in the short term by deals yet to be finalised.

Organized by the export promotion agency Proexport Colombia, the business conference recently held in Panama gathered together 62 Colombian exporters and 73 Central American companies, with 80% of the Panamanian buyers.

Building Materials Deals for $27 million

Proexport gathered together 46 Colombian exporters and 59 Central American buyers in a business conference in Panama.

The IV Business Roundtable on Building Materials in Panama, organized by Proexport, finished with business expectations of $27.4 million for the Colombian business sector, informed the president of Proexport, Maria Claudia Lacouture.

Colombian Trade Mission Visits Panama

Colombian construction companies are hold negotiations with Panamanian importers.

Proexport Colombia director, Álvaro Gómez-Escalante, commented that 75% of the meeting are expected to be effective.

"Colombia sold $44 million of construction materials to Panama last year, which, according to the Proexport director, is evidence of a significant contribution by Colombian companies to Panama's development".
