The report "Construction Projects in Panama - May 2015", prepared by the Business Intelligence unit at CentralAmericaData.COM, provides a list of key construction projects for which environmental impact studies (EIS) were presented to the National Environmental Authority (ANAM) in May.

In the sector of residential developments, a noteworthy project consists of a residential building made up of 630 lots intended for family residences, ranging from 170 m2 to 200 m2, and in corners of up to 300 m2. The EIA for this project, called "Quintas del Este" which will be developed in the district of Panama, province of Panma, was presented by the company Abcopa and has an estimated cost of $25 million.

In the commercial area, the company Ocean Lounge Commercial Corp submitted an EIS to build a warehouse with an area of ​​8000 m2 for receiving, packing and shipping of various products offered by the company. The estimated cost of the work to be developed in the province of Colon, is $5.5 million.

Other projects for which EIAs were submitted in the month of May include a geotechnical exploration study, renovation of school buildings and commercial premises.
