Construction Projects Planned in Costa Rica

A tourism development, a medical center and a wastewater treatment plant are some of the projects that are planned for development in the country in the coming months.

Details of some of the projects: 

Dominical Ridge Limitada submitted an EIA to build, in Bahia Ballena, province of Puntarenas, a tourist complex that will have 24 single-family houses, a hotel with 50 rooms and a building for residential and commercial use. According to the document, the project is called "Dominical Ridge Resort Development" and the investment is estimated at $18.8 million.

The Costa Rican Social Security Fund submitted an EIA to build and equip a medicine unit located in San Jose. According to the study, the project is called "Construction and equipment of the Reproductive Medicine Unit of the Women's Hospital Complex" and approximately $8.3 million will be invested in it.

Banco Hipotecario de la Vivienda submitted an EIA to build a wastewater treatment plant in the district of Río Blanco, province of Limón. The project is called "Treatment Plant for urbanization Limón 2000" and according to the document $5 million will be invested.
