Construction: New Projects in the Region

The renovation of a school in Panama, the construction of a training center in Guatemala and the building of a residential tower in El Salvador are part of the investments announced in Central America for the coming months.

Details of some of the Environmental Impact Studies presented recently:

The Ministry of Education of Panama presented the EIA for the construction and remodeling of an educational center located in Villa Cardenas, Ancon. The project document entitled "Study, design, construction and remodeling of the Francisco de Miranda Educational Center", which will require an investment of nearly $14 million, was detailed.

In Guatemala, the Technical Institute of Training and Productivity presented the EIA to build in the municipality of Villa Nuevo, its new training center that will have industrial workshops of several types. According to the study, $12 million will be invested in the construction of this building.

In El Salvador, the EIA was presented for the construction of a seven-story residential building that will house 38 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. For the project called "Torre Alerce" to be located in Santa Tecla, it is estimated that the investment will amount to about $3 million.
