A hospital in Panama, a multi-purpose building in Guatemala and a medical device factory in Costa Rica are part of the projects planned for the coming months in Central America.

The interactive platform "Construction in Central America", compiled by the Trade Intelligence Unit at CentralAmericaData, includes an up to date list of public and private construction projects that are expected to be built in the coming months.

Detail of some of the Environmental Impact Studies presented recently:

Panama's Ministry of Health plans to build a five-floor hospital in the district of Penonomé, Coclé province, which includes the installation of medical and non-medical equipment. The study details that around $167 million will be invested in construction.

Fincas y Construcciones S.A. plans to build in Zone 16 of Guatemala City, a mixed-use building that will have a residential and commercial area. The project called "Lirios de Cayalá Phase III" will require an investment of approximately $12 million.

Microvention Costa Rica SRL plans to build a medical device factory in Garita, Alajuela province. The document specifies that the total area of the industrial plant will be 9 thousand square meters and the investment will total about $4 million.

Plans are underway to build, in a 3,200 square meter lot in Bella Vista, Panama City, a 62 story building for residential and commercial use.

The company DAO Panama Development, S.A. submitted an Environmental Impact Study (EIA) to build a mixed building of offices, shops and apartments. The project is called "DAO Panama", and will be developed in the town of Bella Vista.
