Congress on Public Infrastructure

From May 27th to May 30th companies in the construction and architecture sector in Costa Rica will be holding a congress in which issues related to public works management will be discussed.

The twelfth edition of the congress entitled Public Infrastructure Architecture 2015 Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow, is being organized by the College of Architects of Costa Rica and will be held in the CFIA auditorium, in the daytime from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm During the week of the conference week several events will be held which will allow for contact with representatives of the sectors involved

The first event was held on February 9, the discussion group brought together representatives of local governments. It is expected that by next April 8 another workshop will be held conducted with representatives of the Central Government and autonomous institutions.

At the Hospital Infrastructure Congress, to be held September 18-20 in San Jose, Costa Rica, one of the topics to be discussed is related to the characteristics and functionalities that should have new design projects for hospitals and clinics in the future.

The Costa Rican Association of Hospital Architecture and Engineering (ACOAIH) will hold the 5th Hospital Infrastructure Congress on September 18, 19 and 20, 2019 at the Crown Plaza Corobicí Hotel in San José.

In the first quarter of 2012 the number of square meters of processed construction increased by 15% compared to the same period in 2011.

The data has been released by the Association of Engineers and Architects (CFIA in Spanish).

The province of San Jose leads with the largest amount of square meters, totaling 840,292 m2, or one third of everything processed in Costa Rica, reported Nacion.com.
