An analysis of the interests and preferences of consumers in Guatemala, compiled by the Trade Intelligence Unit of CentralAmericaData, provides interesting results on the preferences and tastes of people who express interest in different types of computers and their respective accessories. The population with the highest average income in the country shows interest in computer memories, network storage and servers. When analyzing each segment, 3% of the population show interest in servers, and of this group of consumers, 7 out of 10 are between 15 and 30 years old.

Two percent of the population is interested in issues related to network storage, and 52 percent of these consumers are between 21 and 30 years old.

In the case of hard disks, for example, 8% of Guatemalans report interest in this type of products, and of that portion of the population, 44% are between 21 and 30 years old.

On the other hand, the analysis details that the population with lower consumption capacity expresses interest in desktop computers, processors, monitors, tablets and software.

When analyzing the general population, 9% show interest in processors, and 45% of that segment are between 21 and 30 years old. Moreover, 15% of all consumers in the country are interested in tablets, and of that group, 7 out of 10 are between 15 and 30 years old.
