Changes to Rio Hato Terminal

The Panamanian Civil Aviation Authority has introduced changes to the specifications for the construction of the terminal in Rio Hato.

The changes include size reductions in areas designated for state offices (immigration, customs and police) in the VIP room and the number of bathrooms.

"Although several reductions in the size of some components of the new terminal have been made, in the modified specifications there are no changes to the reference price to be paid by the state for the project", noted an article in Prensa.com.

The base price established for the design and construction was set at $16.3 million.

Rio Hato Airport for $52 million

The Panamanian government has established reference prices and details for two tenders.
