A society’s development is heavily based on its ability to peacefully, rapidly and impartially resolve conflicts through its judiciary system. This is why modern societies work hard to have strong and efficient systems, way beyond the rhetoric and formal division of powers.

An article by Capitales.com lists key judiciary stats for the Central American countries. Panama stands out as the most effective country, measured in case resolution rate. This is considered to be a result of an increase in the number of “municipal judiciary courts” and “alternate conflict resolution methods”.
