Central America Present in Spanish Tourism Fair

The region is participating in the International Tourism Fair of Madrid, FITUR 2011, with a wide range of offerings.

Offers from the Central American region are based on natural resources, culture and traditions.

Maria Amalia Revelo, marketing director of Costa Rican Institute of Tourism, said, "The natural beauty of our country and its biodiversity pose a very attractive and fun vacation, with walks through forests, volcanoes and beaches."

Costa Rica in International Tourism Fairs

The Costa Rican Tourism Institute is inviting companies in the sector to participate in international events.

In a press release issued on a large scale on July 13, 2015 in a single printed media format, the Marketing Department at the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT) called on companies to register their interested in participating in international fairs in the second half of 2015 and the first of 2016.

Tourism Fair in Nicaragua

In the Summer Fair to be held on the 28th and 29th of March tourism companies from Latin America and the U.S. will see the country's tourism supply.  

On the 28th and 29th March the second edition of the Summer Fair will be held in Nicaragua, in which tourism businesses from Latin America and the United States will get to see the tourism services on offer in the country, confirmed the National Chamber of Tourism (CANTUR).

Central America Takes Part in FITUR 2012

At the International Tourism Fair of Madrid 2012 (FITUR), the region is jointly aiming to give impetus to sustainable tourism.

The Costa Rican Tourism Minister, Alan Flores Moya said one of the objectives is to present the region as multi cultural and nature filled.

"Aside from presenting the national plans of each Central American country, Panama, Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Honduras and Belize will be in the Spanish capital targeting the European market as one of their preferred customers, as several ministers told Efe Tourism in the region.

Costa Rica to Participate in Fitur 2010

65 Costa Rican companies from the tourism and hospitality sector will take part in the event, promoting the country as a touristic destination.

They will participate together with the Central American Tourism Agency.
