Imports by country 
In the first three quarters of 2016 the main importer of fruit and vegetables juices in Central America was Panama with $26 million, followed by El Salvador with $19 million, Costa Rica with $17 million, Honduras with $16 million Guatemala with $10 million Nicaragua with $9 million.

Monthly imports from the region
During the 33 months between January 2014 and September 2016 the region as a whole imported a maximum monthly value of $13.55 million in August 2014, and the minimum value was $7.71 million in December 2014.

Change in imports
Regional imports in the first three quarters of 2015 compared to the same period in 2014 decreased by 8.65%, while those from 2016 compared to 2015 increased by 2.59%.

During the first 9 months of 2016 the country which increased the value of imports the most was Costa Rica, while Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua showed no significant change compared to the same period in 2015. Panama was the only country that registered a decline in the value of imports.
