Buyers Trade Mission 2015

From September 22nd to 25th, the XVII edition of the Buyers Trade Mission will bring together in Costa Rica exporters and 180 international buyers from 30 countries.

From a statement issued by the Costa Rican Foreign Trade Promotion Office :

San Jose, July 31, 2015. A platform for companies with export potential to showcase their products to different countries around the world and be able to diversify their business, from inside of Costa Rica. This is the main feature of the next Buyers Trade Mission (BTM) fair organized by the Foreign Trade Promotion Office of Costa Rica (PROCOMER).

The seventeenth edition of the BTM will be held from 22 to 25 September this year and will host around 180 international buyers from over 30 countries. Notably, seven out of every 10 clients who will visit the activity, will be taking part for the first time.

Agribusiness and Manufacturing: Virtual Business Roundtable

Local companies with exportable supply from the agricultural and manufacturing sectors will participate on November 5 and 6 in a virtual business roundtable with buyers from different countries.

Participating businessmen will have the opportunity to meet virtually with potential buyers from 11 different markets: United States, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Dominican Republic, Chile, Europe, Canada and Mexico.

Food and Beverages: Virtual Business Roundtable

From 20 to 23 May, an online business meeting will be held with South Korea for companies in the food and beverage sectors.

The Secretariat for Central American Economic Integration (SIECA) coordinates the "Virtual Business Roundtable with South Korea," which is aimed at companies in the food and beverage sector, and will be conducted through the Central American Trade Network.

The Guatemalan industrialists' association is calling on Central American companies to participate in an online business conference, on October 18.

Virtual Business Meetings at ExpoApen 2014

September 2014

The online participation of 60 international buyers has been confirmed in business meetings which will take place in the ExpoApen 2014 fair on September 26th and 27th.

The Association of Producers and Exporters of Nicaragua (APEN) reported that the majority of international buyers participating virtually are interested mainly in tropical fruits, vegetables, tubers, bananas and cashews.
