British Trade Mission Goes to Panama and El Salvador

From 25th to 28th of March companies from the retail sector will visit both countries to explore business opportunities.

On the 25th and 26th of March meetings and seminars between Panamanian and British businesspeople will be held in Panama City.
Subsequently the British delegates will travel to El Salvador where they will have a business lunch and later briefings ending their trip of March 28.

"Priority will be given to companies in sectors such as fashion, food and beverages, household goods and cosmetics, but businesses from the retail sector will also take part.

British-Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce Announced

The British Embassy announced the opening, this March 15th, of a British-Costa Rica Chamber of Commerce .

The project is being promoted by the embassy of Great Britain and the investment and trade promotion agency in the country, UK Trade & Investment.

As explained by representatives of the embassy in a statement, one of the "main aspects which informed the creation of the chamber is the affinity with British and Costa Rican firms in the field of the audiovisual and entertainment software industry," reports

Salvadoran Companies Visit Puerto Rico

September 2009

Mexican and Salvadoran companies are taking part in business rounds with potential partners.

Exportplast, Alas Doradas and Propaldi, all of them plastics and paper products companies, are participating from El Salvador.

From Mexico, the participants are "Kovi Foods, Munsa Molinos (bran and wheat flour), Salsas Castillo, Llaos Acuacultura (frozen shrimp distributor) and Moldecor (interior decoration)".
