Bids to be taken for new offices of electricity company in Panama

The Empresa de Transmisión Eléctrica S.A. company (Etesa) will give the bidder with the best value the construction job to build an office complex at a reference cost of $10.1 million.

The delivery of the proposals by interested companies is scheduled for November 24.

The new building will be constructed in the area of the sporting complex located on Ricardo J. Alfaro road, in the township of Bethania, district of Panama, and where the Operations Management and Maintenance office of Etesa are located.

Guatemala Tenders State Office Complex

The government has announced an international tender for the construction of an office center with capacity for 11,000 workers.

Plans are underway in Guatemala to build a center to house the administrative offices of the state. The complex will have capacity for 11 thousand workers and it is planned to be offered in an international tender this year in 2014.

The National Insurance Institute (INS) has put out to tender the construction of a new building for its headquarters in Guadalupe.

According to the specifications the tender is for the procurement of professional services (architectural and engineering) to conduct preliminary studies, preliminary design of construction drawings, specifications, detailed budget, carry out the demolition of the existing building and construct the new site for the National Insurance Institute using a prefabricated system in Guadalupe, San Jose.

Bidding for Financial Tower in Panama Postponed

Reception of bids for conceptual design of the project scheduled for October 4 was postponed until November 18.

The Bid´s reference price of $ 8million includes design as well as architectural and technical specifications. informs "According to documents, the skyscraper will be more than 300 meters high and top floors would have a gazebo, restaurant and lounge."

Honduras: Offers Submitted for ENEE Building

Seven companies have presented their offers to design and supervise the construction of the National Electric Energy Company (ENEE) building.
