An intensive course is being offered in the Netherlands on new technologies and innovation in the horticulture industry worldwide.

Participants will learn about new technologies, innovation, collaboration as well as acquiring practical experience in the most innovative horticulture industry in the world in this three-week intensive course offered by NethWork and the HAS University of Applied Sciences.

This training course will contribute to the exchange of knowledge and experience between private sector entities and representatives from the public sector in Central America. The focus of the training course will be protected crops, technologies of medium and high level, and post-harvest practices.

Application

Thanks to the support of the Dutch government, this management training program is being offered by NethWork free of charge for 10 people. Travel expenses and accommodation will be covered as well.

JH Biotech, a subsidiary of Jianghuai Horticulture seed Co., dedicated to the genetic improvement in seeds of horticultural products started operations in Nandayure, Guanacaste.

An agreement has been signed with a business school at the University of Arkansas.

In order to develop Panamanian entrepreneurship and business, the National Secretariat of Science and Technology (Senacyt) has signed an alliance with the Sam Walton School of Business, through which 50 scholarships are to be provided for partial study.
