The Costa Rican construction firm Meco won the contract with an economic proposal of $12.8 million, lower than all of the bids submitted by the other four participants in the tender. Data from the Government Procurement System at CentralAmericaData shows that Pavimentos Colombia S.A.S submitted a bid of $13.9 million, Constructora Urbana S.A., $14.4 million, Transeq S.A., $13.6 million and LABISA International Group S.A., $13.2 million.
