After being closed, the company appealed the measure before a court, which ordered the opening of restaurants located in the La Campana shopping center and in Unicentro Soyapango, both in the country's capital.

Elsalvador.com reports that "... The legal representative of the company explained to El Diario de Hoy that legal appeals have been filed for all closed premises, but for now the House has only decided for two and is expected to do so in the coming days for the others."

The article adds that "... This judicial resolution has been issued while the House resolves definitively whether the closures were attached to the law or not. The Ministry of Health confirmed to this newspaper that its inspectors went to verify that the establishments had complied with the health requirements and the observations made to them as justification for the closure; and after verification, they were authorized to reopen."
