Alcoholic Beverages: Production up to June 2018

In the first six months of 2018, the production alcoholic beverages in Panama amounted to 150.4 million liters, 4% less than in the same period in 2017.

n dir="ltr">According to the latest data from the General Comptroller of the Republic, production of alcoholic beverages in general reported a decline, falling from 156.7 million liters in the first half of 2017, to 150.4 million liters in the same period in 2018.

From January to June 2018, Cognac was the liquor that recorded the largest increase in its production compared to the same period in 2017, rising from 13734 liters to 21,012 liters, equivalent to a growth of 53%.

For the periods in question, beer production decreased by 4%, falling from 150.4 million liters in 2017 to 144.3 million liters in 2018.

From January to June 2019, the production of alcoholic beverages in Panama was 141 million liters, 6% less than that recorded in the same period of 2018.

According to the most recent data published by the General Comptroller of the Republic, the production of alcoholic beverages in general reported a decline, reducing from 150.4 million liters from January to June 2018, to 141.2 million liters in the same period of 2019.

In the first seven months of 2018, production of alcoholic beverages in Panama amounted to 172.9 million liters, 5% less than in the same period in 2017.

According to the most recent data from the Comptroller General of the Republic, production of alcoholic beverages in general reported a decrease, falling from 182.3 million liters from January to July 2017, to 172.9 million liters in the same period in 2018.
