Alcoholic Beverages: Production in Panama Doesn't Improve

From January to July 2019, the production of alcoholic beverages in the country was 166 million liters, 4% less than that recorded in the same period of 2018.

The most recent data published by the General Comptroller of the Republic, specify that the production of alcoholic beverages generally reported a decline, reducing from 172.9 million liters from January to July 2018, to 166.8 million liters in the same period of 2019.

In the first seven months of 2019, Whiskey registered a decrease in its production compared to the same period in 2018, falling from 9,696 liters to 9,048 liters, reporting a 7% decline.

According to figures from the General Comptroller of the Republic, the accumulated production of alcoholic beverages in general reported a decline, reducing from 227.3 million liters from January to September 2018, to 218.3 million liters in the same period of 2019.

Beer: Production Decreases 3%

October 2019

From January to August 2019, the production of alcoholic beverages in Panama was 194 million liters, and beer production fell 3% compared to the same period in 2018.

According to figures from the General Comptroller of the Republic, the production of alcoholic beverages in general reported a decline, reducing from 199.8 million liters from January to August 2018, to 193.9 million liters in the same period of 2019.

Alcoholic Beverages: Production drops 5% up to July 2018

In the first seven months of 2018, production of alcoholic beverages in Panama amounted to 172.9 million liters, 5% less than in the same period in 2017.

According to the most recent data from the Comptroller General of the Republic, production of alcoholic beverages in general reported a decrease, falling from 182.3 million liters from January to July 2017, to 172.9 million liters in the same period in 2018.
