Alarm Systems in Homes Nicaragua

The growth in the supply of housing has led to an increase in demand for electronic security systems.

Wednesday, March 5, 2014

" ... The residential sector needs physical security (surveillance) , electric fences, alarm systems and camera systems, but not all homes have them. Consumption is focussed on alarm and response systems," said Lilliam Jerez, deputy manager at the company Ultranic Security.

"Demand is growing in parallel with the growth of the housing supply. Every month, Ultranic receives 50 to 60 requests for services for installation and monitoring of alarm systems, and the purchase index has increased from 20% to 35%."

According to a security consultant at Servipro, Germán Ruiz, "to protect a house of 65 m² we have a basic alarm kit (which includes control panel, keypad, battery, 2 motion sensors and 2 magnetic contacts for doors or windows) whose installation requires an investment of $250 or $350."
