Agrisal Builds Office Center in Costa Rica

The Salvadoran group is building 'Plaza Tempo' in Escazu, a shopping center and office complex.

The 16.000 square meters of office complex and the 6.300 of commercial areas will be integrated into the Holiday Inn Hotel, which will open in less than a month.

In Zona Rosa, San Benito, at the Salvadoran capital, plans are to build a complex which includes a 16 floor Holiday Inn Hotel and a 4 thousand square meter commercial and office area, announced Roberto Murray Meza, President of Agrisal.

These projects, to be developed in the next 5 years, will be part of a large real estate complex, which includes the recently inaugurated Torre Futura.

This is the first of seven hotels that Agrisal Group, in partnership with InterContinental Hotels Group, expects to build in Central America.

The 10,000 square meter hotel will have 163 rooms, and it is expected to start operations in 2010.

German Rivas, in his article in, reported statements by Eduardo Quiñónez, director of AGRISAL Group's hotel division: “It's the starting flag in our race for regional hotel leadership. We are already among the 10 largest and most important hotel groups in Central America, and the goal is to become the second largest group and to regionalize successfully."
