This tool is aimed at the productive sectors, importers of products of animal and vegetable origin, agricultural inputs and exporters of agricultural, livestock and hydrobiological products, which will now reduce time in their efforts with the use of cutting-edge technology, typical of the digital era, informed the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food (MAGA).

According to MAGA, VISAR online allows automating at least 16 services that were previously carried out in person at MAGA's facilities located in the capital's zone 13.

The Vice Minister of Agricultural Health and Regulations, Victor Hugo Guzman, explained that "... the platform now allows procedures to be carried out from anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day, just by having an electronic device and Internet access."

Guzman added that "... an important point is that the permits can be received in your office or can arrive at the port of entry into the country in real time. This will allow the merchandise to be released in less time, and this is transformed into economic improvements for users."
