$9 Million in Office Building Rehabilitation

The Ministry of Health of Panama tenders the studies, design, construction and equipment for the habilitation of Building 265, Old Gorgas Complex.

Panama Government Purchase 2019-0-12-0-08-LV-027496:

"Building 265 was built in the early years of the Panama Canal's operation. The architecture inspired basically in the Renaissance design makes note the antiquity of this building.

The sanitary systems, drinking water, electricity and everything related to the mechanics of the building are in an advanced state of deterioration. The necessary studies will have to be made for the accomplishment of new designs of the systems of the building. Likewise, the facades and the structure must be considered in the rehabilitation of the building.

The tile roof of the building is not included in this contract, as its repair was the subject of another contract."

Reference value: $8,695,600.

Deadline for receipt of bids: November 14, 2019.

The Ministry of Health in Panama is putting out to tender the restoration and adaptation of Building 265, located on Gorgas Street, Ancón district, province of Panama.
